1. Cancellations:

Cancellations received within 12 hours of vehicle despatch will be charged at 100% daily rate (8 hours) and within 24 hours charged at 50% daily rate. Airport transfer cancellations within 4 hours of vehicle despatch will be charged at basic hourly rate. No shows will be charged in full.

2. Conditions of Hire:

All journeys will be calculated on the shortest or quickest route unless specified by the client and agreed upon when booking. Live satellite navigational vehicle systems may be used to avoid delays. Whilst we endeavour to ensure our drivers are punctual, we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Clients will be held responsible for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of a vehicle during the hire period and will be billed accordingly for any repairs or valeting required in order to reinstate the vehicle to its previous condition.

Guardian Chauffeurs will not be held responsible for any accidental loss or damage to clients properties and items are carried at clients own risk. Any property found will be held at our offices and logged in the lost property book until it can be returned to the client at a suitable and convenient time.

The hirer must not request or act in any way which contravenes or causes to contravene any part of the legislation which applies to the use of vehicles as applied under the road traffic act.

Guardian Chauffeurs maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles.

Guardian Chauffeurs and it’s drivers have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be heavily under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

3. Seating Capacity and Luggage:

The hirer shall confirm and agree at time of booking the required seating capacity of the vehicle supplied together with luggage and stowage space requirements and must not exceed this load beyond this capacity.

4. Complaints:

In the unlikely event of a complaint about the company services, the hirer should endeavour to seek assistance and resolution from the company driver or the company. If unable to do so, all complaints should be made to the company in writing and within 14 days of date of termination of date of service or hire.

5. Accounts:

Account facilities are available to EU based companies and supported by satisfactory bank references.

All accounts invoices are to be paid within 14 days from date of invoice unless specifically agreed upon account opening.

Invoices are issued in UK Sterling. Cheque payments will only be accepted from UK banks alternatively all accounts and invoices can be settled using all major credit or debit cards or electronic bank transfers. A 5% surcharge will be added to the final invoice when using Amex, MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affect the clients statutory rights.
